Teena Batten is the Financial Manager of Coffey Bomar LLP and brings a wealth of knowledge of accounting and financial management issues to our law firm and our business clients.  Ms. Batten has over 20 years' experience in accounting and business management, specializing in the design and creation of financial systems and financial report writing.  She also masters a wide breadth of knowledge in the information technology field, having created and serviced a wide variety of software programs for large and small businesses.  Ms. Batten combines a mastery of law firm accounting and business systems to excel in her current position with Coffey Bomar.

At Coffey Bomar LLP, Ms. Batten manages all aspects of the business from financial analysis, accounting, and reporting to human resources and is available to consult on a variety of business and information technology topics.

In November 2008, Ms. Batten was recognized for her leadership and excellence in all aspects of financial management by Cambridge Who's Who Executive, Professional, and Entrepreneurial Registry, an achievement bestowed upon her by her peers.

Ms. Batten began her career as controller for the Moravian Church in America, Southern Province, where she served 12 different agencies and affiliates and managed multi-million dollar pooled investments.  During her time at the Moravian Church, she maintained payroll and other financial matters for over 500 employees.  Ms. Batten invested countless hours in learning and creating an elaborate financial reporting system through Financial Report Writer (FRx) that maintained all financial documents for the various agencies of the Moravian Church.

Ms. Batten is a 1989 graduate of Pensacola Christian College with a B.S. in accounting, and a 2007 graduate of California Coast University with a Masters in Business Administration.  She resides in Advance, North Carolina with her husband and four children.
