Amanda Palmieri is a trial lawyer at Coffey Bomar LLP with a practice concentrating in medical malpractice and family law.  In addition, Ms. Palmieri has experience in medical malpractice defense, insurance defense, family law, education law, commercial litigation, and appellate work. 

A member of the North Carolina Bar Association, Ms. Palmieri has been active in that organization through the CLE Planning and Organization Committee.  She is also a member of the Forsyth County Bar Association, North Carolina Association of Defense Attorneys and American Bar Association.  Ms. Palmieri contributed to a chapter of North Carolina Civil Procedure, third edition, titled "Res Judicata".

Ms. Palmieri is a member of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, the Junior League of Winston Salem, and regularly volunteers and works with families at Forsyth Medical Center and Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.   

She graduated from Wake Forest University in 1999 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and was a varsity soccer player.  Ms. Palmieri received her Juris Doctorate from Mercer University in 2005 and was a member of the trial team.  She was licensed to practice law in Georgia in 2005 and North Carolina in 2007.
